Way back in the early 1990’s I did a comic for my university newspaper. It wasn’t very good but I enjoyed creating it and seeing it published. I’m not sure this will be any good either but it will, at the very least, be a nice outlet. My sense of humor runs the gamut from social commentary to juvenile, and I’ll touch on sports, religion, politics, entertainment, and, of course, body noises. One of the fun aspects of doing a comic is your characters can say things you never would. But my voice will be here too. I’ve been doodling since elementary school and have always sought a forum to share what I have to say. This was inevitable, really.

We think alike. I just haven’t gotten back into the swing of publicly posting such comics (at least, not online). But, I used to do comics for my school papers, too. Some of my “jokes” went over people’s heads. And, a few times, I was threatened if I refused to pull/change the piece before going to press.

You haven’t missed any updates yet. They are apparently in “cartoon purgatory.” I’ve sent a few pieces in, been notified they have been received, but no acceptance or rejection yet. They get thousands of cartoons…I wouldn’t be surprised if they hadn’t even looked at them yet! Stay tuned…
