This is a pretty good cartoon. Still rejected by The New Yorker.

How many couples are getting engaged tonight? Another rejected New Yorker cartoon.

Here’s one of two seasonal cartoons The New Yorker didn’t want as their Valentine.
Note: I admit that when I was creating this I thought “wherefore” meant “where”, as in location. My wonderful mom informed me that it is the archaic way of asking “why?” Hmm. It still works…

No room at The New Yorker inn for this cartoon. Rejected.

Here’s another flavor that didn’t find a home. Rejected.

No storage available for this cartoon at The New Yorker. Rejected. But I still like the idea.

Here’s another one our friends at The New Yorker rejected.

I submitted this to The New Yorker about 10 days ago. Since I haven’t heard back and we are now post-Thanksgiving, I’m assuming they didn’t see it in time, and I’m sharing it with you. I’m getting rejection notices more quickly but don’t think I’m on their radar to “jump the line” and have my submissions evaluated before they come up in the queue.

The New Yorker slept on this one, as well.

Hmm…just like the president-elect? Here’s another New Yorker cartoon that didn’t agree with the magazine’s palate.
