


Just messing around…but not tutu much.

Another New Yorker remainder. If I had the digital means when I created these cartoons I would have added grayscale (“color”) to them, which would help them pop a bit more. Maybe I’ll still do that.

Fun to draw/paint a larger face and pair it with this quote from one of Mr. Wendell Berry’s poems.

Here’s another one that didn’t make the cut for The New Yorker. Orchids go for Lord Byron every time.

Here’s the third in a batch of ten cartoons submitted in February that were rejected by The New Yorker magazine. I was pleased with both the idea and the drawing with this one.
