Still love reading Agatha Christie, all these years later.

One of my favorite books is Madeleine L’Engle’s Walking on Water, Reflections on Faith & Art. This quote is taken from there.

Hello, again. Sorry for the lengthy absence. I got out of the cartoon rhythm and had a difficult time relocating the groove. Also, I’m transitioning to a digital drawing tablet and need to make some computer upgrades to facilitate that new reality. Hope to be up and operational with that within a couple weeks.
The above cartoon came as a result of finishing Norris’s book, Amazing Grace, which I recommend if you are spiritually minded. This is an actual quote about her husband that amused me. I’ve come to “see” the line between logic and mystery as a beautiful, blurry mess. To me, this is essential for mature belief.

This is another nod to the “Books Never Written” section in the Boy’s Life magazines I used to read as a kid. They always made me laugh…

One of my favorite MLK quotes: “Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.”
By the way, I own a Dream Dictionary. It was recommended by a Spiritual Director I was seeing a few years ago. It’s very interesting–I’ve referred to it a couple of times after particularly vivid dreams.
Here’s the final cartoon in the series. Writing these came pretty naturally and limiting them to one panel meant the drawing wasn’t very time-consuming. Stretching them out to multiple panels might be a good idea but would be too labor-intensive. We’ll see this little guy again, for sure. Maybe he’ll even get a name…
