Inspired by Cat Power’s “Colors and the Kids,” which is very evocative for me. I could do little drawings for each phrase in this song. Maybe I will.

Wrote this little verse and the drawing came out. This style is more indicative of how I doodle and paint, not cartoon. If you’re interested, I did another blog for a time, Pablo’s Doodles, that has a lot of drawings and prose in this style. It has not been updated in a couple of years but I am still fond of a lot of its content. Maybe I’ll add an occasional “whiteouts” with this vibe.
