The South by Southwest festival isn’t really on my radar but I’m intrigued by the controversy having Snowden speak has generated. I think appearing on a HUVr board tomorrow would take some of the angst out of the moment.

Rats! The final phrase is supposed to read “affirmingly CLOSE-minded”…affirmingly open-minded makes too much sense! Well, I didn’t feel like drawing it all over again. If you’re a church or any other organization just be who you are; don’t try to make everyone happy. You end up saying and standing for nothing.

I suppose this is better than a bunch of sullen employees who ignore you. But how about a middle ground, like a simple, pleasant head nod to acknowledge your arrival? I just want a sandwich, Subway, not a new group of friends. This policy is clearly the work of extroverts.
