Must be a re-broadcast of the 2002 World Series. That was heavenly.

No storage available for this cartoon at The New Yorker. Rejected. But I still like the idea.

I know a lot of people on that list. Fat Santa was enjoyable to draw.

This was fun to draw. Inspired by Gary Larson, of course.

They should never have made those new Arrested Development episodes…

I submitted this to The New Yorker about 10 days ago. Since I haven’t heard back and we are now post-Thanksgiving, I’m assuming they didn’t see it in time, and I’m sharing it with you. I’m getting rejection notices more quickly but don’t think I’m on their radar to “jump the line” and have my submissions evaluated before they come up in the queue.

Here’s a Thanksgiving cartoon from two years ago, back in the “black and white” days of whiteouts. It was fun to add some color.
Of course, it’s not just the turkeys who need a non-anxious presence these days.

I kinda liked this one and thought it might have a chance. The New Yorker disagreed. How shellfish of them.

It’s a couple days early for this cartoon but let’s all enjoy it anyway.
