Remember to feel blessed, those of you who get time off over the holidays. For there are plenty of us out there who don’t, and often work extra hours serving those people who take that time off. Is it fair? Is it right? Should it change? I don’t know, I haven’t had time to think about it.

Oh, I’m definitely grateful. Quite a bit of the time I’m working over Thanksgiving weeked, Christmas, Easter break, etc…that’s what pastors do. Just happened that I was able to take some vacation time this year. Plus, I work almost every Sunday of the year while everyone else is sleeping in!

HBO will be airing a documentary on New Yorker cartoonists.
(I don’t have HBO- but I’m gonna have to figure out another way to watch it.)
