You spoiled my discovery of a punchline. Of course, the panel is green around the glasses. I just needed a minute to think of that. 🙂
The other glass says, in return, “Why would anyone want to be square?” Then someone plays Huey Lewis’ “It’s Hip to Be Square.” 😛

No, the actual punchline is “crushed ice.” The “glass is greener” line is just a bonus.

Ah. A more poignant display of crushed ice might be to show the cubed ice with a soda or other beverage filling the glass. The glass is more full with the beverage, and the two together look like a happy couple to the solitary crushed ice with no beverage for company.
